White Noise is an experimental sound event held regularly at the Royal College of Art in London. To capture the imaginations of experimental sound fans, an image of an imaginary musical instrument was created — a xylosynth — to try to give a sense of the strange things you might hear at White Noise.

For the event itself, we created a version of the logo that would respond to the sound being played, and create new letterforms in time with the performances.
